Ankhiale (ANG-key-ell) - This Titan goddess represented the warming heat of fire to the Ancient Greeks. As the sister to ultimate-provider-of-flame, Prometheus, wife of the Titan god of hands, Hekateros, and mother of metalsmith expert Daktyloi, her connection with these rustic deities together represented the power of the human hand to create, shape and utilize fire not just for heating and cooking, but also as a tool to enhance the human experience.

Our mission parallels that ancient belief. We want to enhance your outdoor human experience with new designs to solve old accepted problems and spawn real world innovations. Located in the Columbia River Gorge, between the prominent volcanic peaks of Wy'east and Pahto, and split between two small Northwest communities of Hood River OR and Klickitat WA, Ankhiale Outdoors' hope is to provide you with a better outdoor experience and bring jobs back to these small towns.
